Perpetuity Training is proud to be associated with the SyI and to be the provider of the Institutes two membership qualifications – the Certificate in Security Management and the Diploma in Security Management.
The Security Institute is the largest association for security professionals in the UK, and aims to raise the professionalism of security both in the UK and internationally. As part of this process the SyI Certificate and Diploma courses offer security professionals the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised security qualification, enhance their skills, improve their career progression and enjoy the numerous benefits that come with membership of the SyI.
The Certificate in Security Management results in a BTEC Level 3 qualification, along with membership of the SyI at a minimum of ‘Associate’ level (subject to application and validation) and provides an ideal foundation in security management.
The Diploma in Security Management is the flagship qualification of the SyI, and results in a BTEC Level 5 qualification, along with full ‘Membership’ of the Institute and the entitlement to use the letters MSyI after your name (subject to application and validation).The Diploma is the most senior qualification offered by the SyI.
Perpetuity Training - in partnership with the Security Institute (SyI) won the Security Excellence Award for Security Training Initiative of the Year in 2010 for their work developing these two courses.
Perpetuity Training - in partnership with the Security Institute (SyI) - are finalists for the 2011 Security Excellence Award for Security Training Initiative of the Year for the ongoing development of the distance learning programme.
