Security Institute (SyI) Certificate in Security Management
The SyI (formerly IISec) Certificate in Security Management is the membership qualification for the Security Institute (SyI). On successful completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for membership of the Institute at a minimum of Associate Level. Benefits of membership include:

Who will benefit?
The course will benefit anyone seeking professional recognition and qualification within the security sector. The course is open to all those who operate within the private and public security sectors. Current members include security managers, health and safety amangers, police officers, members of the armed services and those working in safety and security.

Assessment
The course has been designed with continuous assessment in mind. At the end of each of the 6 modules the learner completes and returns an assessment which contributes to half of the overall mark with the final exam making up the other half.
Duration
Learners will normally complete the course within 12 months (subject to exam dates).
Enrolment Dates
Learners can enrol on the course at any point throughout the year.
Fees
The course fee is £660 + VAT (£775.50). Please note that Exam registration fee is not included.
